Yes, my name does mean 'shiny star'. Don't ask. But I'll tell you anyway!!

You see, it all started a long, long time ago (actually, it started when I decided to create this blog). Anywho, as I was saying... I always go by the name "Aerin" online, and so I tried to get it as a username, but you know how that works. Yeah. Someone took it already. Anyway, I tried to get the name "kagayku" (it's kinda an inside joke between my exchange students and I) and someone else had that one, too. So I chose to do "shiny star" instead. Yeah. Interesting, huh? Not.

So, a little bit about ME!!!!

No, I am NOT Japanese.
No, I do not have Cartoon Network.
No, I do not have red hair.
No, I do not own Fruits Basket on DVD. I don't own it anyway.
No, I have NOT had an exchange student from South Africa.

Yes, I do have an alter ego.
Yes, I do have an account on fanfiction.net.
Yes, I do have blonde hair (that doesn't make me terribly dumb).
Yes, I am obsessed with Kyo from Fruits Basket (he's MINE).
Yes, I am an anime freak.
Yes, I own a few mangas.
Yes, my friends are anime freaks, also.
Yes, one of my friends is obsessed with Yuki from Fruits Basket.
And yes, I have had an exchange student (four of them at the same time) from POLAND!!

So. What now?

I'm 14 years old.
I AM NOT JAPANESE.
I live in AMERICA.
I want to get sucked into an anime world.
