My mom is really sick... and I don't know what to do.

She went to the hospital Wednesday night, and they told her that she has a kidney infection. The doctor there gave her a prescription for a medicine that would help it, but it doesn't seem to be helping... only making things worse.

She has dry heaves, she's weak, and she can't open her eyes because it'll make her dizzy. Oh yeah, and she's lost 7 pounds since Tuesday.

What do I do?

Right now I'm preparing for the worst...

Before we left California, my mom went to see a doctor, and he told her that she only had about 10-12 years to live. That was probably about 9 years ago, and I'm getting really scared.

What am I going to do if my mom dies? What am I going to do?

I feel like Akito from Kodocha, when he was panicking in the hospital because he thought his dad was dying. I hope my situation turns out like his.

But what do I do in the meantime? How do I talk to her? How do I make her feel better?

What do I do?

This is the darkest post on this blog... and I'm sorry to shatter the peaceful sense of happiness that it had formerly been coated with.

I can't explain how I feel, other than a sense of pending doom.
